How to Install a Guest Operating System in a Virtual Machine

 

 

The following steps will show you how to open a console to your virtual machine and do an unattended installation of a Windows guest operating system into the virtual machine.

1. Right-click your virtual machine and select Power > Power On.
2. Right-click the virtual machine again and select Open Console.
3. Do an unattended installation of the Windows guest operating system. Your virtual machine should power on and start to install the guest operating system. The whole Installation process should take about 10-15 minutes.
