Exchange 2007 Standard Edition

Standard Edition is the basic messaging server version of Exchange
2007. It is perfect for small organization, stand alone Edge
Transport, Hub Transport or Client Access Server. Standard Edition
supports only five data stores. The Standard Edition meets the needs
of most organization as long as limited database capacity is
accounted.

Exchange 2007 Enterprise Edition

Enterprise Edition is for large organizations that require more than
five databases and clustering for high availability. Enterprise
Edition supports up to fifty data stores. Enterprise Edition is
required when implementing Cluster Continuous Replication (CCR),
Single Copy Cluster (SCC) or Standby Continuous Replication (SCR).
